Friday in the Park with Graff!

Don't know what your plans are for tomorrow? Well, I know where I will be...

Direct from DJNY Art's press release: "In honor of National Hip-Hop Day, DJNY Art will be hosting "Summer Classics Block Party" in the First Street Garden Art Park, an event highlighting the history of and the positive influence that Hip Hop has had on our culture and communities, featuring live DJs and some of the best Graffiti artists and Muralists, both old and new."

And what do we have to look forward to?

Murals by the incomparable Jeff Henriquez (of recent Prodigy fame), master portrait artist Albertus Joseph, a special tribute to Sean Price including a set by his DJ, PF Cuttin... and if that wasn't enough, graff by MASTERS including SKEME, Doves, T-Kid, Yardking and MORE!!

Oh and did I mention that the tunes will be provided by Legendary Easy Mo Bee, DJJS1 of Rock Steady Crew, DJ Crazy Bazarro and an opening set by DJ Leva57 also of Rock Steady Crew!?!

So yeah, I know where I will be tomorrow, say hello if you pass through!!
