DJNY ART HOSTS WELCOME TO THE LAB

BROUGHT TO YOU BY NIKE AND SNEAKER LAB

New York, NY – September, 2017 – Friday, September 8th, DJNY Art will be hosting "Welcome To The Lab,” a Pop Up event for Nike and Sneaker Lab. After a nationwide contest to design the newest Nike sneaker, there are 5 finalists. This show is finalist Amado Morales’ opportunity to show Nike why he deserves to win.

Morales, a New York Native, better know as Sonemoore, explains “I am incredibly excited for this opportunity. It feels like the perfect competition for me" and goes on to say "it combines my two biggest passions - art and sneakers.”

The event will also include artist ZAONE, fresh off his extremely successful solo show. ZAONE, one of the most widely respected Graffiti Artists around, is a favorite at The Bushwick Collective and has done artwork for them both here in New York and in Miami at Art Basel.

The incredibly popular SNKR Head will also be part of the event. “We are collectors for over a decade and never planning on stopping our legacy. The products you will find on our website and in store cannot be found locally,” explains its founder.

The show also includes two up and coming photographers, Mike Rios and RAW Exposure, both with impressive signature styles that capture the feel of the city in novel ways.

Legendary DJ Trauma, Global Spin Award recipient, who has created an international name for himself, will be spinning. So expect a night of amazing music to go along with a truly unique collection of Art and fashion that is not to be missed.
