SPOKE NYC is pleased to present the Miyazaki Art Show, a whimsical showcase of over one hundred artists from around the world celebrating the films of Japanese film-maker and animator Hayao Miyazaki. Taking inspiration from the Studio Ghibli director’s classic films such as My Neighbor Totoro, Ponyo, Kiki’s Delivery Service and Princess Mononoke, exhibiting artists have created unique works inspired by Miyazaki’s imaginative universe.

Featuring a diverse array of painting, sculpture and limited edition prints, each artist offers their unique perspective and interpretation of beloved characters and themes in Miyazaki’s films. Imbued with the legendary director’s sense of adventure, deep reverence for nature and strong female characters, this dynamic three day exhibition is not to be missed.

Please join us Friday, September 29th from 6 - 10 pm for the opening reception of the Miyazaki Art Show. Costumes are encouraged and some of the artists will be in attendance. For more information, or additional images, please email us at nyc@spoke-art.com
