AM Artstop "Shot of the Week" 11.3.17

The collaborative public art project by Maya Gelfman and Roie Avidan "Mind The Heart", is headed toward a decade of promoting mindfulness through street art. An idea born in Tel Aviv, the red yarn hearts have reached over 100 cities worldwide. With this piece left in the Lower East Side, 2 negatives make a positive "Never" and "Too Late". When they come together the phase is so powerful, a reminder that time is of the essence. After a week that included too close-to-home terror, NYC residents remember that "it's never too late". We will never forget, and it's definitely too late for anyone to be afraid.

Artist: Maya Gelfman / Roie Avidan

Location: Freeman Alley
