I've been a fan of SCOPE for many years, an international art fair that features many street art galleries and pop artists.
This is the 18th edition of SCOPE, the first fair to run concurrently with the famous Armory Show. SCOPE New York's spirit of innovation has consistently forged the way for emerging artists and galleries. Known for presenting groundbreaking contemporary work, SCOPE New York will welcome 60 international exhibitors at its centrally-located venue.
Here are 5 booths I loved this year:
1: WALLWORKS GALLERY The Bronx, NYC l Booth 041
This is WALLWORKS' first showing at SCOPE, with many pieces created especially for the show. A vibrant booth with a range of styles, this was definitely a favorite.
A project of legendary Graffiti pioneer CRASH and entrepreneur Robert Kantor, WallWorks gallery is dedicated to showcasing new and exciting art from both emerging and established artists, mixing "downtown" sensibility with "uptown" style.
