Spoke Art and Juxtapoz Magazine are pleased to present FEMME, a group exhibition featuring over 40 artists exploring themes of sex and sexuality from the female and femme perspectives. This dynamic array of artists displays a complex spectrum of experiences from introspective and intimate to playful and defiant.
Including a wide variety of media such as painting, drawing, embroidery and neon, each artist presents facets of sexuality from the feminine viewpoint. The exhibition seeks to celebrate the ever shifting and multi-dimensional experience of each artist from soft sensuality to frank brashness.
Please join us for FEMME, opening Friday, March 1st, with an opening night reception from 6pm - 9pm at the Juxtapoz Projects space in Jersey City, NJ. The exhibition will be on view through Saturday, March 29th.
