The Sold Tour is Back: Art After Dark
In 2018, Sold Magazine introduced our "Sold Tour"; with guide and contributor, Bytegirl in Manhattan and Brooklyn. They were extra special tours with our very informed leader, special drop-ins by local artists, and free giveaways and prizes! In 2019, we are partnering with Airbnb and offering a tour like no other: Art After Dark. Be sure to check the schedule, for tours weekly!
After dark, the city changes. Come with us to where it all began. Walk the steps of Basquiat and Haring. Hear stories about the walls before you. Every time we turn a corner, the past meets the present. Decades of work, countless stories. Wheatpastes, murals, and graffiti; roam the streets with us on a guided hunt for both masters of the game, and up-and -comers.
A nighttime (1.5-2h) guided walk around the busiest street art & graffiti neighborhoods in NYC. Lots of stops along the way with particular attention being paid to hard to find, older, and the most unique pieces on the street. Photographs are encouraged and we would like all guests to tag the artists (don't worry, we're here to help with that, too.)
