New York, NY – Superchief Gallery is proud to announce the grand opening of its newest NYC-based location, Superchief Gallery NFT, the world's first physical exhibition space dedicated solely to NFT artwork. Superchief Gallery NFT is partnering with Blackdove to establish the industry standard for how NFT collectors can display their artwork in the home, workplace, and elsewhere. Together, they will present NFT artwork IRL as the artists intended it to be experienced, showcasing each piece on high resolution 4k commercial grade screens, ready to be hung in the collector’s home. "Since we opened our doors back in 2012, Superchief has held the belief that digital-native artwork was essential to our generation’s larger art movement. This is a watershed moment for the art world at large because NFTs created a system of royalties for digital artists," Superchief co-founder Ed Zipco explains. "It's the beginning of a sustainable model in which creators can profit when their investors profit. NFT's are a brand new concept for 99% of the world right now, but basically, they allow collector to invest in digital art and know that there is provenance, which has forever been the missing element to establish value for digital art.”

In addition to being the first of its kind in a rapidly expanding marketplace, Superchief Gallery NFT will operate as a Carbon Negative platform with carbon credit purchases built into its system, counterbalancing the negative ecological impact of this emerging technology.

Opening its doors on Thursday, March 25, 2021, Superchief Gallery NFT will launch with a giant inaugural exhibition of NFT work by 300 artists, titled Season One Starter Pack. Beginning on opening day, the gallery will host a daily rotation of NFT art installations featuring 5 different artists per day through May 25th, 2021.

Each of the 300 exhibiting artists will be execute NFT drops: the first will be a 72 hour auction for a 1 of 1 work, and the second will be a 72 timed edition that provides everyone with an opportunity to make a purchase. It is recommended that collectors prepare their crypto wallets in advance, but credit cards will be accepted as well.
